What is the minimum age for a boat trip in Cabo?
Five, at almost every operator, and it is set by each operator independently rather than by any law. Cabo Adventures publishes five as the minimum for its whale watching, and Cabo Expeditions publishes the same for its zodiac and its Land's End snorkel. The exceptions are worth knowing precisely, because they are the whole list for a family with a four-year-old: the Cabo Submarine publishes all ages, the Aries glass-bottom boat publishes no minimum age at all, and Pez Gato sets no minimum and carries four and under free on both its whale and its snorkelling cruises. That last one is the only free-under-five policy found anywhere in Los Cabos.
Do children get a discount on Cabo tours?
It depends entirely on the operator and the three models are very far apart. The Cabo Submarine, and the operator says so itself, publishing the vessel as comfortable, spacious and air conditioned. It is the only entry on this page where a baby, a pregnant parent and a grandparent with limited mobility can all go on the same ticket, because it publishes no age minimum, no weight limit and no health exclusion. When is whale season in Cabo?

The corridor adventure park needs a car or a paid transfer, and the winter surf lessons move to the Pacific coast beyond San Jose del Cabo, which adds about an hour each way.
