Seville Hotels With a Pool, Ranked by When You Can Actually Swim

Seville hotel pools are rooftop, small and seasonal, and the listing photo hides all three. Seventeen were read on the hotels' own sites on 6 September 2026. Exactly one publishes a size and not one publishes a length or a depth, so this page ranks by the only thing they do publish: the months the pool is open, its hours, whether the deck is a public bar, and the child rule. Five say they are open all year. One closes on 15 September. Two hotels give two different seasons on the same page.

Best all-round: Hotel Casa 1800 Sevilla

In Brief

Which Seville hotels have a pool open all year?

Five say so on their own sites: Hotel Casa 1800, 365 days from 10 to 8 on the roof beside the cathedral; Hotel Giralda Center, all year from 9 to 8:30, the earliest opening in the city; Casa Romana, all year from 10 to 8; Only YOU Hotel Sevilla, all year with bathing from 10 to 8 in the only pool in Seville that publishes a size, 70 square metres; and Hotel Amadeus, whose salt-water rooftop pool is the one described as heated in winter, with no hours published. Everything else runs a season, from Kivir's 1 March to 31 October down to Ribera de Triana's 1 June to 15 September.

Key takeaways

  • One of seventeen publishes a pool size; none publishes a length or depth.
  • Five publish a year-round pool; Ribera de Triana's closes on 15 September.
  • Two hotels publish two different seasons on the same page: Bécquer and Barceló.
  • Sevilla Center's under-16 rule exists only in its 23-page internal rules PDF, not on the pool page.

What the bands mean

No Spanish hotel publishes a static nightly rate, so the bands are relative tiers. What the operators do publish is the rest: EME Catedral Mercer's extra bed at 75 euro a night for a child up to 12 and breakfast at 25 euro for an adult and 12.50 for a child, Mercer Sevilla's extra bed at 100 euro a night from age four, cots free to age three at both. Casa 1800 sells a summer pool day pass to non-guests, so its rooftop is not yours alone in July.

The 12 hotels, and who each one is wrong for

Walking times are to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal. Every hotel was routed on OpenStreetMap pedestrian routing at 4.5 km/h from its published address to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal on 6 September 2026. A first pass on a public router served car timings for the walking profile and produced errors of over two kilometres, and was discarded.

  • Santa Cruz

    Hotel Casa 1800 Sevilla

    €€€
Rated 4.6 out of 5 on Google Maps from 958 reviews, as of October 2026
    Best all-round

A converted mansion in Santa Cruz, four minutes from the cathedral, with a rooftop pool the hotel says is open 365 days a year from 10 to 8. It is the best-placed year-round pool in the city.

Walk to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
4 min to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
    Right for
Anyone who wants to swim in February four minutes from the cathedral.
    Wrong for
Anyone expecting the roof to themselves in summer: the hotel sells day passes to non-guests in season.
    The catch
In summer the pool is sold to non-guests on a day pass, so the one year-round old-town pool is also a public one when it is hottest. No size, no depth and no child rule are published.
  • San Bernardo

    Hotel Giralda Center

    €€
Rated 4.7 out of 5 on Google Maps from 1,547 reviews, as of October 2026
    Best value

A modern hotel on the San Bernardo edge with a rooftop pool open all year from 9 in the morning to 8:30, the earliest opening published by any Seville hotel, and a lounge bar on the same terrace.

Walk to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
18 min to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
    Right for
A family who want a morning swim before the heat, at a mid-range rate outside the old town.
    Wrong for
Anyone who wants to walk to the cathedral in under a quarter of an hour: it is 18 minutes.
    The catch
It is outside the old town, 18 minutes from the cathedral. Its sister hotel's internal rules carry an under-16 pool rule, but no rules document is linked from this hotel's page, so the same rule cannot be assumed and none is published.
  • Encarnación

    Casa Romana Hotel Boutique

    €€
Rated 4.4 out of 5 on Google Maps from 738 reviews, as of October 2026

A boutique hotel north of the centre with a pool open all year from 10 to 8, free towels, and private pools on some of its Gran Deluxe rooms.

Walk to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
16 min to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
    Right for
A couple who want a year-round pool and the option of a private one, away from the cathedral crowds.
    Wrong for
Anyone who wants the pool's size or a child rule in writing: neither is published.
    The catch
Sixteen minutes from the cathedral, no size published, and no children's rule of any kind. Whether the pool is free for guests is not stated in those words.
  • Santa Justa

    Only YOU Hotel Sevilla

    €€
Rated 4.7 out of 5 on Google Maps from 1,020 reviews, as of October 2026

The only Seville hotel that publishes a pool size, 70 square metres, on the ground floor beside Santa Justa station, open all year with bathing from 10 to 8 and a seasonal pool bar next to it.

Walk to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
32 min to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
    Right for
A family arriving by train who want the biggest pool anyone in Seville will put a number on.
    Wrong for
Anyone who wants to walk to the old town: it is 32 minutes to the cathedral.
    The catch
It is by the railway station, 32 minutes from the cathedral, and the hotel's own page warns that pool use may be restricted at periods of maximum occupancy. The swim-up bar that appears in reviews is not on the operator's site; the bar is beside the pool.
  • Santa Cruz

    Hotel Amadeus

    €€€
Rated 4.5 out of 5 on Google Maps from 571 reviews, as of October 2026

A music-themed hotel in Santa Cruz whose salt-water rooftop pool is the only one in Seville described as heated in winter, available all year, with a jacuzzi on the same terrace facing the Giralda.

Walk to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
8 min to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
    Right for
Anyone who wants a warm pool in January eight minutes from the cathedral.
    Wrong for
Anyone who plans around hours: none are published for the pool.
    The catch
No hours, no size and no child rule are published for the pool, so the year-round claim comes with no timetable attached.
  • El Arenal

    Hotel Kivir

    €€

A river-front hotel in El Arenal with a rooftop pool open from 1 March to 31 October, 11 in the morning to 10 at night, the latest closing published by any Seville hotel, and a skyline bar on the same roof.

Walk to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
11 min to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
    Right for
A couple who want an evening swim until ten with the river below.
    Wrong for
A family: the hotel's own FAQ says it is recommended for adults and has no family rooms.
    The catch
The hotel says in its own FAQ that it is recommended for adults and has no family rooms, so the late hours are not for children. No size is published beyond a small oasis.
  • El Arenal

    Hotel Bécquer

    €€
Rated 4.7 out of 5 on Google Maps from 3,682 reviews, as of October 2026

A long-established hotel by the Triana bridge with a rooftop pool the FAQ calls moderate-sized, open from late March, with a solarium that stays open to guests even when the pool is shut.

Walk to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
12 min to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
    Right for
A family who want a rooftop pool twelve minutes from the cathedral with an honest note about supervision.
    Wrong for
Anyone booking the first week of October on the strength of one page: the other page says the pool has closed.
    The catch
Two seasons on one site: the pool page says 27 March to 31 October, the FAQ says March until the end of September depending on the weather. Both were live on 6 September and both are recorded. Hours are only available at reception, there is no lifeguard, and the hotel asks for constant adult supervision of children.
  • Santa Cruz

    Hotel Doña María

    €€
Rated 4.4 out of 5 on Google Maps from 3,010 reviews, as of October 2026

A classic hotel facing the Giralda with a large outdoor rooftop pool open 15 April to 30 September, whose hours, 11 to 7:30, appear only in the hotel's own internal rules, and whose deck is a public bar until one in the morning.

Walk to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
4 min to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
    Right for
Anyone who wants to swim four minutes from the cathedral with the Giralda over the water.
    Wrong for
Anyone who wants a quiet deck: the terrace bar is open to the public every day from 1pm to 1am.
    The catch
The pool is guests-only but the deck around it is a public bar from 1pm to 1am, and food and drink at the pool must be bought there. The pool hours are not on the marketing pages at all; they are article 9 of a rules document.
  • Santa Cruz

    EME Catedral Mercer

    €€€€
Rated 4.2 out of 5 on Google Maps from 2,636 reviews, as of October 2026

The rooftop hotel directly opposite the cathedral, with a pool open 11 to 8 every day of the week in season, reserved for guests, and the most explicit child welcome in the set.

Walk to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
4 min to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
    Right for
Anyone who wants to swim in front of the cathedral and will pay for the address.
    Wrong for
Anyone who needs the season dated: the hotel says only that facilities may vary by season.
    The catch
No opening months are published, only a note that facilities vary by season. Extra beds are 75 euro a night for children up to 12, breakfast is 25 euro an adult and 12.50 a child, and the pool's size is not stated.
  • Nervión

    Hotel Sevilla Center

    €
Rated 4.4 out of 5 on Google Maps from 5,094 reviews, as of October 2026

A large hotel in Nervión with a third-floor terrace pool, a kiosk bar beside it, and a child rule that exists only inside its 23-page internal regulations: no bathing or solarium use for under-16s unless accompanied by their parents.

Walk to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
21 min to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
    Right for
A family on a budget who have read the rules document and are travelling with their teenagers.
    Wrong for
A teenager travelling with an aunt, a grandparent or a school group: the rule says parents.
    The catch
The terrace page gives 11 to 8 daily and no age rule; the rules PDF gives 10 to 8 in summer and the under-16 rule. Both readings stand. Glass and food are banned in the pool zone, room towels are banned at the pool, and pool towels need a 10-euro deposit. It is 21 minutes from the cathedral.
  • Isla de la Cartuja

    Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento

    €€€
Rated 4.6 out of 5 on Google Maps from 7,926 reviews, as of October 2026

A conference-scale hotel on the Cartuja island with three pools, an outdoor one, a children's pool and a heated indoor one, and the most detailed child rules in Seville: under-14s with an adult in the indoor pool in winter, and the indoor pool adults-only through the summer.

Walk to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
42 min to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
    Right for
A family with small children who want a dedicated children's pool and a heated indoor one in winter.
    Wrong for
Anyone booking on the outdoor season, which the hotel states two ways on one page.
    The catch
Two seasons on the same page: the services block says the outdoor pool runs April to the first week of September, the FAQ lower down says April to October, both weather dependent. It is 42 minutes on foot from the cathedral, across the river on the Cartuja.
  • Triana

    Hotel Ribera de Triana

    €
Rated 4.4 out of 5 on Google Maps from 4,273 reviews, as of October 2026

A riverside hotel in Triana with a small rooftop pool open daily from 1 June to 15 September, 10 to 9, free for guests with towels against a deposit, and the shortest published season in the city.

Walk to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
24 min to the cathedral's Puerta de San Cristóbal
    Right for
A family in July who want a pool at the lowest rate on this page and do not mind the walk.
    Wrong for
Anyone travelling outside 1 June to 15 September, or on a day the hotel has booked the roof for an event.
    The catch
The season is the shortest here, 1 June to 15 September, and the hotel says the pool can close for adverse weather or for private events booked at the hotel. It is 24 minutes from the cathedral.

Where not to book in Seville

Five famous names have no pool, verified on their own sites: Hotel Inglaterra, whose rooftop bar admits children staying at the hotel only until 10pm and over-12s after that; Vincci La Rábida; Hotel Alcázar; Palacio Pinello; and Eurostars Torre Sevilla, whose only water is a hydrotherapy pool in its 35th-floor health club, not a swimming pool. Six hotels could not be read because their operators refused every request or their sites have gone: the Alfonso XIII, Meliá Sevilla, Colón Gran Meliá, NH Collection Sevilla, Fernando III, and Hotel Alminar, whose domain now serves a parked page. Nothing is claimed about any of them. Corral del Rey, Palacio de Villapanés, H10 Casa de la Plata, Mercer Sevilla and Las Casas de la Judería all have rooftop water but publish no season for it; Villapanés's own word is alberca, and the plunge pools at Corral del Rey and H10 are plunge pools in the operators' own words.

When to book

Seasons decide this more than dates. Between mid-April and late September almost every pool here is open; from October to March the list collapses to five, and only Amadeus says its water is heated. Book a year-round pool for a winter trip and confirm the season on the hotel's own page the week you travel, because two hotels here publish two different closing months on the same site.

Best hotels in Seville: FAQ

The questions travellers ask most when picking a hotel here.

No Seville hotel publishes a length, and only one publishes any size at all: Only YOU Hotel Sevilla's 70 square metre ground-floor pool by Santa Justa station. Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento has three pools in gardens on the Cartuja, including a children's pool and a heated indoor one, but prints no dimensions. Meliá Sevilla and the Alfonso XIII are reputed to have larger pools and their operators' sites blocked every request, so nothing can be said about them from source.

Five say they are: Casa 1800 for 365 days from 10 to 8, Giralda Center all year from 9 to 8:30, Casa Romana all year from 10 to 8, Only YOU all year with bathing 10 to 8, and Amadeus all year with a salt-water pool heated in winter and no hours published. Everything else publishes a season: Kivir 1 March to 31 October, Bécquer from 27 March, Doña María 15 April to 30 September, Ribera de Triana 1 June to 15 September, and Barceló's outdoor pool from April to either the first week of September or October depending on which part of its page you read.

Most hotels publish no rule either way. Two do. Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento has a children's pool, requires under-14s to be with an adult in the indoor pool in winter, and makes the indoor pool adults-only through the summer. Hotel Sevilla Center's terrace page says nothing, but section 16.2.4 of its internal regulations bars under-16s from bathing or using the solarium unless accompanied by their parents. Bécquer publishes no age rule but says there is no lifeguard and asks for constant adult supervision. Kivir has no pool rule but says the hotel is recommended for adults and has no family rooms.

Four are within four minutes on foot of the Puerta de San Cristóbal: Casa 1800, Doña María and EME Catedral Mercer, all in Santa Cruz. Mercer Sevilla in El Arenal is seven minutes and Amadeus eight. The trade-off is the calendar: of the closest four, only Casa 1800 is open all year, Doña María runs 15 April to 30 September, and EME publishes no season at all.

Where the hotel says so, yes: Las Casas de la Judería states its pool is free for clients, Ribera de Triana says access is free for guests with towels against a deposit, and Doña María, EME and Mercer all describe their pools as exclusively for guests. Two catches are published. Casa 1800 sells a summer day pass to non-guests, so the roof is shared in season. Doña María's pool is guests-only but the deck around it is a public bar from 1pm to 1am.
