In Brief
Which hotels are near the Seattle cruise port?
It depends which port. If your line sails from Pier 66, which in 2026 means Norwegian, Oceania and Regent, the Edgewater is four minutes away on foot, Kimpton Palladian twelve, Palihotel and the Warwick about thirteen. If your line sails from Pier 91, which means Carnival, Celebrity, Cunard, Holland America, MSC, Princess, Royal Caribbean and Virgin Voyages, no hotel is walkable: the closest, MarQueen and the Mediterranean Inn in Lower Queen Anne, are an eight to nine minute drive. The Mayflower Park is the only hotel that publishes a shuttle price, 15 dollars a head to either pier.
Key takeaways
- Pier 66 is downtown and walkable from Belltown; Pier 91 is in Interbay, two miles away, with no public transit.
- 229 of 320 scheduled 2026 calls use Pier 91, so most passengers need the pier the hotels do not walk to.
- One hotel of fourteen publishes a shuttle price: Mayflower Park, 15 dollars per guest one way.
- Two Kimptons list Pier 69 as a cruise terminal; it is the Victoria Clipper ferry dock.

What the bands mean
No Seattle hotel publishes a fixed rate, so the bands are relative tiers. What the operators do publish is the layer on top: a daily fee at seven of the fourteen, from 20 dollars at the Mayflower Park to 34 at the Edgewater, parking from 28.50 dollars off-site at the State Hotel to 66 for valet at the Edgewater, and, at exactly one hotel, a cruise shuttle with a price on it. The port's own parking is 30 dollars a day plus tax at Pier 66 and from 27 dollars including tax at Pier 91.

The 12 hotels, and who each one is wrong for
Walking times are to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second. Every hotel was routed from its published address to both terminal entrances on OpenStreetMap pedestrian and car routing on 6 September 2026: Pier 66 at 2225 Alaskan Way and Pier 91 at 2001 West Garfield Street. The first figure in each entry is the walk to Pier 66; every entry also gives the drive to Pier 91, because nobody walks there with luggage. A first pass on a public router returned identical times for walking and driving and was discarded.
Downtown, at Westlake
Mayflower Park Hotel
€€Rated 4.4 out of 5 on Google Maps from 1,510 reviews, as of October 2026Best all-roundA 1927 hotel on Olive Way next to Westlake station, and the only one of the fourteen that publishes a cruise shuttle with a price: scheduled runs to both piers at 15 dollars per guest for the 2026 season, confirmed with the bellman.
- Walk to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- 16 min to Pier 66, 13 min drive to Pier 91 to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- Right for
- Anyone arriving by Link from the airport who wants a priced ride to either pier and the train under the hotel.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: Anyone with a car: valet only at 55 dollars plus tax, and no self-parking.
- The catch
- The catch: The shuttle is one-way at 15 dollars a head, so a family of four pays 60 dollars to the pier and the same back, and it is subject to availability. The daily destination fee is 20 dollars with tax included.
Lower Queen Anne
MarQueen Hotel
€€Rated 4.2 out of 5 on Google Maps from 902 reviews, as of October 2026Best valueA 1918 apartment building turned hotel in Lower Queen Anne, the closest of the fourteen to Pier 91 at an eight and a half minute drive, with a cruise transfer arranged through a partner and paid to the driver.
- Walk to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- 21 min to Pier 66, 9 min drive to Pier 91 to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- Right for
- A Pier 91 passenger who wants the shortest drive to the ship and a hotel that will book the car for them.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: Anyone with a large car or a lot of stairs to avoid: valet only, small and medium vehicles, 6 foot 8 clearance, no roof racks, and three storeys with no lift.
- The catch
- The catch: The transfer price is not published, and neither pier is walkable: 21 minutes to Pier 66 and 34 to Pier 91 on foot. The amenity fee is 25 dollars a night and early check-in or late check-out is charged, based on availability.
Waterfront, Pier 67
The Edgewater Hotel
€€€Rated 4.4 out of 5 on Google Maps from 3,314 reviews, as of October 2026Built over the water on Pier 67, next door to the Pier 66 terminal, and four minutes from its entrance on foot. It is the closest hotel in the city to a cruise ship, and it never mentions cruises anywhere on its site.
- Walk to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- 4 min to Pier 66, 11 min drive to Pier 91 to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- Right for
- A Norwegian, Oceania or Regent passenger who wants to wheel a suitcase to the ship in four minutes.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: Anyone sailing from Pier 91, which is a 50-minute walk or an 11-minute drive, and anyone counting fees.
- The catch
- The catch: The hotel publishes nothing about cruises, no shuttle, no luggage policy and no early check-in for sailing days. The daily amenities fee is 34 dollars and overnight valet is 66 dollars on one page and 65 on another.
Belltown
Kimpton Palladian Hotel
€€€Rated 4.3 out of 5 on Google Maps from 1,058 reviews, as of October 2026A Belltown hotel with a dedicated page for both piers that gives its own distances, 1.0 mile and a five-minute drive to Pier 66, 3.2 miles and twelve minutes to Pier 91, and a twelve-minute walk to Pier 66 on our measurement.
- Walk to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- 12 min to Pier 66, 12 min drive to Pier 91 to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- Right for
- A Pier 66 passenger who wants a walkable Belltown base with the piers spelled out on the hotel's own site.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: Anyone who wants a parking rate or a fee stated before arrival: neither appears in the pages that can be read.
- The catch
- The catch: Its cruise page presents Pier 69 alongside the two terminals, and Pier 69 is the Victoria Clipper ferry dock, not a cruise port. No shuttle is published and early check-in is a loyalty-tier benefit rather than a cruise-day policy.
Belltown
Warwick Seattle
€€€Rated 3.9 out of 5 on Google Maps from 3,134 reviews, as of October 2026A Belltown hotel with an indoor pool, a thirteen-minute walk from Pier 66, whose transport page points cruise passengers to a third-party transfer company rather than offering its own.
- Walk to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- 14 min to Pier 66, 12 min drive to Pier 91 to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- Right for
- A family sailing from Pier 66 who want a pool the night before and a walkable pier in the morning.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: Anyone expecting a hotel shuttle: the FAQ says plainly that the hotel offers none.
- The catch
- The catch: The 30-dollar Urban Retreat Fee plus 15.7 percent tax applies unless you join the free loyalty programme and book direct. Valet is 52 dollars with a 6 foot 6 limit, and the garage has no lift, so the hotel asks you to unload luggage in the lobby first.
Downtown, by the Market
The State Hotel
€€Rated 4.3 out of 5 on Google Maps from 676 reviews, as of October 2026A downtown hotel a block from Pike Place Market that sells a cruise package with a 25-dollar daily credit and a one-way ride for two to either pier, the only package in the set that includes transport.
- Walk to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- 14 min to Pier 66, 13 min drive to Pier 91 to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- Right for
- Two people sailing from either pier who want the ride bundled and the Market on the doorstep.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: A family of four, whom the package ride does not cover, and anyone under 21, who cannot check in.
- The catch
- The catch: The package ride is one-way for up to two people, so a family pays for the rest. The 29-dollar daily amenity fee is called a resort fee on the package page, early check-in may cost 50 dollars, and the package terms refer to a Pier 99, which does not exist, recorded here as the operator printed it.
Downtown, at Pike Place
Palihotel Seattle
€€Rated 4.0 out of 5 on Google Maps from 712 reviews, as of October 2026A small hotel on Pine Street opposite Pike Place Market, thirteen minutes on foot from Pier 66, with no parking of its own and a discounted garage rate of 33 dollars a day nearby.

- 13 min to Pier 66, 12 min drive to Pier 91 to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- Right for
- A Pier 66 passenger who wants the Market at the door and will walk to the ship.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: Anyone sailing from Pier 91 or driving in: the hotel has no parking and publishes nothing about cruises.
- The catch
- The catch: Nothing about cruises appears on its site. Early check-in cannot be guaranteed and the hotel asks you to call on the morning of arrival, which on a disembarkation day is exactly when you want certainty.
Lower Queen Anne
The Maxwell Hotel
€€Rated 4.7 out of 5 on Google Maps from 3,230 reviews, as of October 2026The Staypineapple hotel by Seattle Center, which publishes both piers with its own distances and drive times, 1.4 miles and seven minutes to Pier 66, 2.2 miles and eight minutes to Pier 91, and suggests a ride share for either.
- Walk to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- 26 min to Pier 66, 10 min drive to Pier 91 to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second

- The catch
- The catch: The 29.95-dollar daily amenity fee applies every night, parking is charged at a rate the location pages do not state, and the Park and Play discount is not a cruise-length product.
Lower Queen Anne
Mediterranean Inn
€Rated 4.5 out of 5 on Google Maps from 2,824 reviews, as of October 2026A Lower Queen Anne independent with kitchenettes, a laundry room and free luggage storage before check-in or after check-out, nine minutes by car from Pier 91 and with no daily fee found.

- Wrong for
- Wrong for: Anyone who wants a hotel that has heard of cruises: the word appears on its site only as cruise the city on bikes.
- The catch
- The catch: No cruise information, no shuttle, and a self-park garage whose nightly rate is not published, first come first served.
Downtown
Hotel Theodore
€€€A downtown hotel at 7th and Pine with a dedicated page for both piers, 1.3 miles and a 10 to 20 minute drive to Pier 66, 3.5 miles and 15 to 30 minutes to Pier 91, and the useful line that Seattle's season typically runs late April to early October.
- Walk to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- 19 min to Pier 66, 13 min drive to Pier 91 to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- Right for
- Anyone who wants the piers explained on the hotel's own site and Westlake station two blocks away.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: Anyone who needs the car priced before arrival: valet is 59 dollars on one page and 55 on another.
- The catch
- The catch: A private town car is offered without a price, and the hotel publishes its own valet rate and daily fee in two different amounts on two of its own pages.
Downtown
Coast Seattle Downtown Hotel
€€€Rated 4.1 out of 5 on Google Maps from 740 reviews, as of October 2026A downtown hotel on 6th Avenue with a Seattle Cruise Stays page and a Bon Voyage package that bundles early check-in on availability and a 50-dollar daily dining credit, and the only hotel here to publish its parking to the cent, 44.86 dollars plus tax.
- Walk to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- 21 min to Pier 66, 14 min drive to Pier 91 to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- Right for
- Anyone who wants a cruise package with a real dining credit and an in-and-out garage with a published price.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: Anyone who reads the hotel's own distance as a walk: it says one mile to Pier 66 and our routing makes it 21 minutes on foot.
- The catch
- The catch: The package carries no shuttle and no parking, and the hotel's published one mile to Pier 66 is optimistic against the map. It is the furthest of the fourteen from Pier 91 by car.
South Lake Union
Astra Hotel Seattle
€€€A South Lake Union hotel with a Snooze and Cruise package whose contents are a 1pm late check-out and a map, and a FAQ that says plainly the hotel runs no shuttle.
- Walk to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second
- 23 min to Pier 66, 13 min drive to Pier 91 to the Pier 66 terminal entrance, with the drive to Pier 91 second

- A couple who value the late check-out on the way home and will book their own car.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: Anyone who reads minutes from the terminals as walkable: it is 23 minutes to Pier 66 on foot and 57 to Pier 91.
- The catch
- The catch: The package includes no transport, valet is priced only by phone, and the hotel is the furthest from Pier 66 on foot of anything downtown here.
Where not to book in Seattle
Three things go wrong here. First, the pier: Kimpton Palladian and Kimpton Monaco both present Pier 69 alongside the cruise terminals, and Pier 69 is the Victoria Clipper ferry dock; the Port of Seattle lists exactly two cruise terminals. Monaco's cruise page also still says Norwegian Bliss joined the port as of this summer, which was 2018. Second, the walk: Pier 91 is 34 to 65 minutes on foot from every hotel measured, the Magnolia Bridge bus stop and staircase are permanently closed, and the port recommends taxi or rideshare. Third, the blocked: Hotel Andra, which search results describe as offering a free pier shuttle with parking during the cruise, refused every request to its site, as did every Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton and IHG property, so none of them is ranked and no claim about them is made.
When to book
The 2026 season runs 17 April to 11 October by the port's own fact sheet, with 330 calls and more than two million passengers, so Belltown and downtown fill on sailing days, which cluster at weekends. Book the pre-cruise night as soon as the sailing is booked, and if you want the Mayflower Park shuttle, confirm it with the bellman on arrival because it is subject to availability.
