In Brief
Which Las Vegas hotels have connecting rooms?
None that you can book. Of fifteen properties read on their own sites, not one sells connecting rooms as a confirmed product and not one charges a fee for the request. Six publish an unguaranteed request: the Venetian, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, the STRAT, the Plaza and Rio. Nine never mention connecting or adjoining rooms anywhere. If a family of five needs one room instead, the published routes are Westgate's Family Suite, Westgate Flamingo Bay's two-bedroom villa, South Point's Junior 2 Bedroom and Red Rock's Signature Suite Two Queens, which is the only single room in the set published at five.
Key takeaways
- Zero of fifteen sell connecting rooms as a bookable product, and zero charge a request fee.
- The Venetian publishes a whole page about connecting suites, then says they cannot be booked online.
- A bigger suite holding no more people appears 51 times across seven properties.
- Only two properties publish a check-in age below 21: Westgate Las Vegas and Flamingo, both 18.
Which rooms actually fit your family
Find your party shape along the top, then read down. A tick means the hotel publishes a room that holds that group in one booking. A dash means the hotel does not publish the fact at all, which is not the same as a no, and is why the column exists.

Every yes, no and unverified below is what the operator publishes on its own site, not what a booking engine would accept. Unverified means the operator does not publish the answer, which in this city is the most common answer of all: nine of fifteen properties publish an occupancy figure for some rooms and not others, and only three publish beds, guests and square footage for every category they sell.
These are family facts, and family facts go stale. This table is set for re-verification in All fifteen properties were read on their own domains on 6 September 2026 and nothing came from a booking aggregator. Six Strip hotels are absent rather than estimated: every MGM Resorts domain closed the connection on every request, so Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, New York-New York and The Signature could not be read, and five Caesars properties were unreadable for the same practical reason. The zero-of-fifteen headline is a statement about the fifteen read, not about the whole city. Occupancy rules and extra-bed charges change, so confirm on the phone before you pay..
Which one fits how your family travels
Find the row that sounds like your trip. Every pick below names the family it is wrong for, so you can book on fit rather than on rank.
| If you are | Book | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A family of five wanting one room | Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa | The Signature Suite Two Queens is the only single room in this set the operator publishes at five guests. |
| A family of six | Westgate Flamingo Bay Resort | A 751 square foot two-bedroom villa, published at six, which is the cleanest route to that number here. |
| Set on a genuine family suite | Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino | The 700 square foot Family Suite and a $30 rollaway with no conditions, though the published occupancy needs confirming by phone. |
| Travelling with a baby | Treasure Island - TI Las Vegas | A published cot price of $20 plus tax, which almost nobody in this city states at all. |
| Travelling with children under 12 | The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower | The only property here that publishes a free age: the third and fourth guest is charged only from 12 upwards. |
| Determined to have connecting rooms | The Venetian Resort Las Vegas | The only operator that publishes the pair, the shared square footage and the connecting door, and you will have to telephone. |

What the bands mean
The charge that catches families here is not the room, it is the third and fourth person in it. Several operators price the guest rather than the bed: the STRAT charges $25 per night for a third or fourth guest aged 12 or over, and Rio's charge triggers on adults rather than children. Cot and rollaway prices are barely published at all, and where they are they carry conditions.
- €
- Downtown and the far south: the Plaza and South Point, where the room rate is smallest and the occupancy is published most plainly.
- €€
- The workhorses: Circus Circus, the STRAT, Flamingo, Rio and both Westgate properties.
- €€€
- Treasure Island, Virgin Hotels, Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch.
- €€€€
- Caesars Palace, the Venetian and Resorts World, which have the largest rooms and publish the least about who fits in them.
The 12 hotels, and the room to ask for at each
Walking times are to the Bellagio fountains. Walking times are measured from each property's own published address to the Bellagio fountains, which is the middle of the Strip and the thing most first-time visitors walk to first. Off-Strip properties are given in driving distance instead, because walking them is not realistic.
Paradise Road, at the Las Vegas Convention Center
Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino
€€Rated 4.0 out of 5 on Google Maps from 29,322 reviews, as of October 2026Best for fourThe most generous published family room in Las Vegas: a 700 square foot Family Suite, a rollaway priced with no conditions attached, and one of only two check-in ages in the set below 21.
- Room to book
- Book this room: The Family Suite, 700 square feet
- Walk to the Bellagio fountains
- Off the Strip on Paradise Road at the Convention Center, about 25 minutes on foot to the fountains to the Bellagio fountains
- Right for
- A family of five or six that wants one room and a published number.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: Anyone who wants to be on the Strip itself.
- The catch
- The catch: The single best family room in Las Vegas sits inside the least reliable set of numbers. The Family Suite publishes eight guests in one paragraph and ten in the one above it, and the operator's own footer warns that its amenity descriptions may be AI-generated and may not reflect actual conditions. Take the room and verify the occupancy on the phone.
Las Vegas Boulevard South, seven miles south of the Strip
South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa
€Rated 4.5 out of 5 on Google Maps from 45,196 reviews, as of October 2026Best valueThe clearest occupancy publisher in Las Vegas. It states which rooms sleep three and which sleep four in its own words, and it publishes a Junior 2 Bedroom, which is one of the few routes to five in the city.
- Room to book
- Book this room: Premium Two Queen at 500 square feet, or the Junior 2 Bedroom for five
- Children stay free
- Not published, and no age at which a child is charged as an adult
- Walk to the Bellagio fountains
- Seven miles south of Mandalay Bay, a drive rather than a walk to the Bellagio fountains
- Right for
- A family that wants the occupancy in writing before it pays.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: A family without a car.
- The catch
- The catch: It uses its unusual clarity to tell a family not to upgrade. Three of its suites sleep two, one of them at 2,000 square feet, while a 500 square foot Premium Two Queen sleeps four. Paying more here buys floor area and takes away beds.
Summerlin, ten miles west of the Strip
Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa
€€€Rated 4.5 out of 5 on Google Maps from 33,853 reviews, as of October 2026The most completely specified room set in the city, with beds, guests and square feet published for all sixteen unit types, and the only single room anywhere in this set published at five guests.
- Room to book
- Book this room: Signature Suite Two Queens, the only room in the set published at five
- Walk to the Bellagio fountains
- Ten miles west in Summerlin, a drive rather than a walk to the Bellagio fountains
- Right for
- A family of five that wants one room and one published number.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: Anyone who needs to be near the Strip.
- The catch
- The catch: The clearest occupancy publishing in Las Vegas produces the least useful answer for a large family. It publishes a One 80 Suite at 7,500 square feet and four guests, against a 515 square foot Luxury Two Queens also at four guests. Fifteen times the space, not one extra bed.
Off-Strip, near Flamingo Road
Westgate Flamingo Bay Resort
€€Rated 4.2 out of 5 on Google Maps from 1,761 reviews, as of October 2026A villa property a minute off the Strip, and the cleanest published route to six people in one unit anywhere in this set: a 751 square foot two-bedroom villa.
- Room to book
- Book this room: Two-Bedroom Villa, 751 square feet
- Walk to the Bellagio fountains
- Off-Strip near Flamingo Road, a short drive to the centre to the Bellagio fountains
- Right for
- Six people who want two bedrooms and a kitchen.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: A family that wants to walk out into the Strip.
- The catch
- The catch: The best six-person villa in the set comes with the worst small print. Check-out is 10:00, the deposit is $200 for a guest against $50 for an owner, and the minimum check-in age is 21.
Centre Strip, at Sands Avenue
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas
€€€€Rated 4.6 out of 5 on Google Maps from 122,171 reviews, as of October 2026The strongest connecting-room publication in Las Vegas and still not a product. There is a dedicated page, a named pair of suites, a shared square footage and a published sleeps figure, and then a sentence that takes it all back.
- Room to book
- Book this room: Luxury Connecting Suites, if you are willing to telephone for them
- Children stay free
- Published twice with two different ages by the same operator on the same page, and both readings stand
- Walk to the Bellagio fountains
- Centre Strip, about 12 minutes to the fountains to the Bellagio fountains
- Right for
- A family that will pick up the phone.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: Anyone who wants a confirmed booking online.
- The catch
- The catch: The best connecting-room publication on the Strip is the one you cannot buy. The operator describes 1,400 square feet of shared space, a secure private connecting door and a pair sleeping six, then writes that these configurations are not available to book online and are reserved exclusively by phone.
Centre Strip, at Flamingo Road
Flamingo Las Vegas
€€Rated 4.0 out of 5 on Google Maps from 75,290 reviews, as of October 2026The best family answer on the centre Strip and the most frustrating one to book. There is a Bunk Bed Suite with two queens and an overhead bunk, and the operator will not say how many people it holds.
- Room to book
- Book this room: The Bunk Bed Suite, 950 square feet, two queens plus an overhead bunk and two bathrooms
- Walk to the Bellagio fountains
- Centre Strip, about 5 minutes to the fountains to the Bellagio fountains
- Right for
- A family that wants the Strip on foot and a bunk for the children.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: A family of five that needs the number confirmed before paying.
- The catch
- The catch: The operator wrote the best family room on the Strip and then hid the one number a family needs. Its own chain mentions connecting rooms at Caesars Palace and never at Flamingo, and the eighty-question FAQ that finds room for a waterslide height finds none for a cot.
Centre Strip, at Spring Mountain Road
Treasure Island - TI Las Vegas
€€€Rated 4.2 out of 5 on Google Maps from 63,833 reviews, as of October 2026One of only two properties in the set that publishes a cot price and a rollaway price as actual numbers, though both come with a condition attached to the occupancy fee.
- Room to book
- Book this room: Deluxe Room taken as two queens, with the occupancy fee understood first
- Children stay free
- Not published as an age; occupancy is charged for three or four sharing regardless of age
- Walk to the Bellagio fountains
- Centre Strip, about 12 minutes to the fountains to the Bellagio fountains
- Right for
- A family of four that wants published prices.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: A family of five, whom the booking widget will not accept in one room.
- The catch
- The catch: Every suite in the building publishes one king bed and no occupancy figure, so paying up at TI buys floor area and a view and buys a family no extra sleeping capacity. The occupancy fee applies regardless of age, so a baby counts.
North Strip, at the boundary with downtown
The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower
€€Rated 4.0 out of 5 on Google Maps from 64,382 reviews, as of October 2026The only property in the set that publishes a children-stay-free age as an actual number. It is 12, and the third or fourth guest is charged $25 a night only if they are 12 or over.
- Room to book
- Book this room: Any Queen room, with the third and fourth guest priced before you book
- Children stay free
- Under 12, published as a charge trigger rather than as a welcome
- Walk to the Bellagio fountains
- North Strip at the downtown boundary, about 30 minutes to the fountains to the Bellagio fountains
- Right for
- A family with children under 12 who will otherwise be charged per head.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: A family that needs certainty about how many fit.
- The catch
- The catch: The operator cannot agree with itself about how many people fit in a room. Its FAQ says four, its terms say six and cite a regulatory limit, and its own booking form disagrees with both. All readings are recorded here and none is treated as settled.
Centre Strip, opposite the Bellagio
Caesars Palace Las Vegas
€€€€Rated 4.5 out of 5 on Google Maps from 138,378 reviews, as of October 20263,960 rooms across seven towers, and the flattest refusal in the set: a family may state a preference to be near each other, which will be evaluated on availability when they arrive.
- Room to book
- Book this room: Either two-queen category; the operator publishes no maximum occupancy for any tower
- Children stay free
- Not published; the operator states that children count toward occupancy limits
- Walk to the Bellagio fountains
- Centre Strip, about 5 minutes to the fountains to the Bellagio fountains
- Right for
- A family of four that wants the Garden of the Gods pools.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: A family of five looking for a published route.
- The catch
- The catch: It is the largest published room count in this set, and a family cannot find out how many people fit in any of them. The operator will not use the word connecting, offering instead a preference to stay near other rooms that is explicitly not guaranteed.
Off-Strip, west on Flamingo Road
Rio Hotel & Casino
€€Rated 3.8 out of 5 on Google Maps from 47,805 reviews, as of October 2026The latest decision point in the set. Rio does not judge a connecting-room request at booking or before arrival; it tells you to raise it with the front desk agent when you get there.
- Room to book
- Book this room: A standard two-queen suite, with a maximum of four guests published
- Children stay free
- Not published as an age; the extra-guest charge triggers on adults instead
- Walk to the Bellagio fountains
- Off-Strip west on Flamingo Road, a short drive to the centre to the Bellagio fountains
- Right for
- A family of four that wants space off the Strip.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: Anyone who needs the room settled before travelling.
- The catch
- The catch: The rooms a family would book are the rooms the operator does not describe. Twelve of the twenty room pages in its own sitemap render no description at all, and its roughly hundred-question FAQ answers whether floaties are allowed in the pool but publishes no crib policy.
Henderson
Green Valley Ranch Resort, Casino & Spa
€€€Rated 4.4 out of 5 on Google Maps from 18,217 reviews, as of October 2026Nine of ten room categories publish beds, guests and square feet, which is unusually complete, and not one of them publishes a route to five people.
- Room to book
- Book this room: Executive Double Queen Suite, published at four guests
- Walk to the Bellagio fountains
- Henderson, about twelve miles south east, a drive rather than a walk to the Bellagio fountains
- Right for
- A family of four that wants the beach-entry pool.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: A family of five.
- The catch
- The catch: It publishes almost everything a family needs except the thing a family of five needs most. Nothing at the property, up to and including a 2,790 square foot Strip Suite, is published above four guests. The one place the word connecting appears on the site refers to an adjoining sitting area, which is furniture.
Off-Strip, east on Paradise Road
Virgin Hotels Las Vegas
€€€The most completely specified hotel in the set, with beds, guests and square feet published for all twenty-seven unit types, and the flattest refusal on extra beds anywhere.
- Room to book
- Book this room: 2 Queens Chamber, 460 square feet, published at four
- Walk to the Bellagio fountains
- Off-Strip east on Paradise Road, a short drive to the centre to the Bellagio fountains
- Right for
- A family of four that wants to know exactly what it is booking.
- Wrong for
- Wrong for: A family of five.
- The catch
- The catch: The most completely specified hotel in Las Vegas gives a family of five a flat no. There is nothing published between a 460 square foot chamber and a 3,234 square foot suite, and the FAQ that publishes a dog fee to the dollar publishes no crib policy at all.
Where not to book in Las Vegas
Two traps recur. The first is the upgrade that shrinks: a bigger, dearer unit holding no more people than a cheaper one appears 51 times across seven properties here, so check the guest count and not the square footage. The second is the check-in age. Thirteen of the fifteen require someone 21 or older to check in, so an 18-year-old cannot collect the keys, and only Westgate Las Vegas and Flamingo publish 18.
When to book
Because no operator sells the connecting pair online, a family that needs one has to ring the property directly and then reconfirm, ideally in writing, before travelling. Rates here move on the convention calendar rather than the school one, so a midweek stay outside a big trade show is a different price from the same room on a Friday.
