The Best Family Resorts in Las Vegas

Las Vegas sells families a resort and then publishes, in its own words, the reasons a child cannot use half of it. Eleven properties were read on their own sites on 6 September 2026. Twenty-seven pools exist across them and eighteen admit a child. Two publish real childcare with an age band, hours and an hourly price. Three publish a resort fee amount. Not one publishes a paid parking rate.

Facts rechecked by Everything above was read on each operator's own site on 6 September 2026 and nothing came from a booking aggregator. Five further Strip properties are absent rather than guessed: every MGM Resorts domain refused the connection outright on 26 separate attempts, so Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand and New York-New York could not be read and are not counted anywhere on this page. Resort fees, pool ages and parking rates change without notice, so confirm the fee and the pool age on the property's own page before you book.

In Brief

Which Las Vegas resorts actually work for a family?

Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch, both off the Strip, are the only two of eleven that publish licensed childcare with an age band, hours and an hourly price: Kids Quest, 30 months to 12 years, $15.00 per child per hour, State of Nevada licensed with a five-hour daily cap. South Point is the only property in the set with no adults-only water at all. On the Strip itself, Flamingo is the strongest family answer and still gives a child one pool out of six. The LINQ is the clearest warning: its single pool is 21 and over, so a child staying there cannot swim on the property.

Key takeaways

  • Two of eleven publish real childcare, and both are off the Strip: Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch.
  • Green Valley Ranch has the only sand-bottom beach-entry pool published in the set, and it shuts at 5pm.
  • South Point is alone in publishing no 21-plus pool, no dayclub and free parking and valet.
  • Zero of 29 items across six published resort-fee lists is aimed at a child, and three are barred to one.

What the rate covers, and what it does not

The inclusion rows below record what each operator publishes on its own site, and a blank is a finding rather than a gap in the reading. Where a property charges for something without naming a price, the row says so rather than guessing. Nothing here comes from a booking aggregator.

What the bands mean

Very little of what a Las Vegas stay costs is published by the property. Of the eleven resorts read, three state a resort fee amount and eight charge one without saying how much. Not one publishes a paid self-parking or valet rate in dollars, though eight of them charge for it. The bands below therefore describe the room rate only, and the fee, the parking and the extra-bed charge sit on top of it in ways the operator will not quote in advance.

The 11 resorts, and the plan to book at each

  • Summerlin, ten miles west of the Strip

Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa

    €€€
Rated 4.5 out of 5 on Google Maps from 33,853 reviews, as of October 2026
    Best all round

Ten miles west of the Strip at the edge of the canyon country, and the only property in this set that answers the childcare question with an age band, a price and a state licence. It publishes a child day-pass rate for the pool as well, which no other resort here does.

    Room to book
Luxury Two Queens, or the Two Bedroom Luxury Suite where a family needs a door between the beds
    Kids club
30 months through 12 years · Monday to Thursday and Sunday 10:00 to 23:00, Friday and Saturday 10:00 to 01:00 · $15.00 per child per hour · Drop-in, first come first served, and immunisation records are required by the licence with a grace period for families resident outside Clark County
    Pools and slides
The main backyard pool, open to children and priced for them: Pool hours 10:00 to 19:00The Rouge Room poolside area, 21 and over:
    Right for
A family that wants a genuine evening off, and will hire a car.
    Wrong for
Anyone who came to walk the Strip.
    The catch
It is ten miles west of everything Las Vegas is famous for, and that is both the appeal and the problem. The operator publishes no parking price and no shuttle to the Strip, only a $4 round-trip game-day bus to the stadium. It also publishes no resort fee, no cot price and no check-in age, at the one property in this set with a licensed childcare centre on site.
  • Henderson, about twelve miles south east of the Strip

Green Valley Ranch Resort, Casino & Spa

    €€€
Rated 4.4 out of 5 on Google Maps from 18,217 reviews, as of October 2026

The same childcare partner as Red Rock, in Henderson, plus the single best published water fact for a small child anywhere in this set: a sand-bottom beach-entry pool, which is the only zero-depth entry any of these eleven operators publishes.

    Room to book
    Executive Double Queen Suite
    Kids club
30 months to 12 years, which the operator also writes as 2.5 years through 12 years on the same page · Monday to Friday from 12:00, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00, closing 23:00 and 01:00 on Friday and Saturday · $15.00 per child per hour · Drop-in, with immunisation records required by the state licence
    Pools and slides
The sand-bottom beach-entry resort pool in the eight-acre backyard: Daily 10:00 to 17:00A private lap pool inside the spa:
    Right for
A family with a child too small for a step-in pool.
    Wrong for
A family without a car, in a different city from the Strip.
    The catch
It is in Henderson, a different city, and the pool that is its best feature shuts at five in the afternoon, the earliest published close in this set. Read the pool prices twice, because the operator sells a child ticket at one rate and the childcare at another, and neither is the room rate.
  • Las Vegas Boulevard South, seven miles south of Mandalay Bay

South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa

    €
Rated 4.5 out of 5 on Google Maps from 45,196 reviews, as of October 2026
    Best value

Seven miles south of the Strip, and the only property in this set that publishes no adults-only pool, no dayclub and no 21-plus water zone of any kind. It also publishes the lowest resort fee anyone here states, and free parking and free valet.

    Room to book
Premium Two Queen, 500 square feet, which the operator itself says sleeps four
    Pools and slides
Free-form pool, wading pool and hot tub, none of them age-restricted:
    Right for
A family that wants nobody checking wristbands at the water.
    Wrong for
Anyone who wants to walk to a Strip show.
    The catch
It is seven miles south of the Strip and its own directions send you to a freeway exit. There is no kids club, the arcade publishes neither hours nor an age, and the pool publishes neither heating nor a lifeguard. The bowling centre that should have been the family's evening has banned birthday parties and warns of a weekend waiting list.
  • Centre Strip, opposite Caesars Palace

    Flamingo Las Vegas

    €€
Rated 4.0 out of 5 on Google Maps from 75,290 reviews, as of October 2026

The strongest family answer on the centre Strip, with a bunk-bed suite and a four-acre wildlife garden that costs nothing to walk into. It is also the clearest illustration of the Las Vegas problem: six pools, and a child may use one of them.

    Room to book
The Bunk Bed Suite, 950 square feet with two queens, an overhead bunk and two bathrooms
    Pools and slides
Family Pool: minimum height The only waterslide runs Friday to Sunday, minimum height 48 inchesGO Pool dayclub, five areas, 21 and over:
    Right for
A family that wants to walk the Strip and sleep on it.
    Wrong for
A family that wants a full day at the water.
    The catch
Five of its six pools are a 21-and-over dayclub, so the entire family water offer is one pool, and its only slide runs Friday to Sunday. The wildlife habitat is genuinely good and it is a garden, not childcare. The resort fee, the parking rate, the cot price and the children-free age are all unpublished on the property's own pages even though its chain sisters publish some of them.
  • North Strip, at Circus Circus Drive

    Circus Circus Hotel & Casino

    €
Rated 3.8 out of 5 on Google Maps from 79,127 reviews, as of October 2026

The property that has sold itself as the family option on the Strip for fifty years, with a permanent circus, an indoor theme park and free parking. It also publishes less about its own family facilities than any other resort in this set.

    Room to book
The operator publishes exactly three room categories by name, Suite, West Tower and Hotel, and no occupancy figure for any of them
    Pools and slides
Splash Zone at Carnival Cove, two pools, five slides, a 50-foot slide tower and a splash pad: minimum height No rider height is published for any of the five slidesTHE POOL, whose age rule the operator does not publish:
    Right for
A family on the smallest budget that still wants the Strip.
    Wrong for
Anyone who needs to know a number before booking.
    The catch
Its water park gets three sentences and no page of its own. Five waterslides and a 50-foot tower carry no rider height, while the theme park next door publishes eleven ride heights. There is no kids club, no cot price, no check-in age, no pool hours, no resort fee amount and no FAQ page anywhere on the site.
  • Centre Strip, at Spring Mountain Road

Treasure Island - TI Hotel & Casino

    €€€
Rated 4.2 out of 5 on Google Maps from 63,833 reviews, as of October 2026

Centre Strip with genuinely free self-parking and valet, and one pool that carries no age restriction at all, which in this city is worth more than it sounds. What it does not have is anything aimed at a child.

    Room to book
Deluxe Room, with the occupancy fee understood before you book
    Pools and slides
The TI Pool, heated, with no published age restriction: Closes at 18:00 · heated
    Right for
A family that wants the Strip on foot and free parking.
    Wrong for
A family of three on a budget.
    The catch
A cot counts as an occupant regardless of age, so a family of three pays an occupancy fee before the baby has slept anywhere, and there is no children-free age at all. The single pool closes at six, has no slide, and bans pool toys with a check at the gate. The spa is 18 and over and the arcade needs an adult for anyone under 14.
  • Centre Strip, 85 acres from Las Vegas Boulevard back to the Forum Shops

    Caesars Palace

    €€€€
Rated 4.5 out of 5 on Google Maps from 138,378 reviews, as of October 2026

Eighty-five acres and seven pools, six of which admit a child, which is the best raw water number on the Strip. It is also the property that answers 91 questions in its own FAQ without ever stating its resort fee.

    Room to book
The operator names seven towers and publishes no maximum occupancy for any of them
    Pools and slides
Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis, seven pools, no slides, heated to 72 degrees: heatedVenus Pool, 21 and over with government-issued ID:
    Right for
A family that will spend the week at the water.
    Wrong for
A family with a pushchair and a tight schedule.
    The catch
It is 85 acres of walking with the casino in the middle, and the operator says so itself, advising families to factor in the distances. Seven pools and not one slide, water heated to 72 degrees, pool toys banned, and the pool key admits four people so a family of five is one short.
  • Centre Strip, at Harmon Avenue

    Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

    €€
Rated 4.3 out of 5 on Google Maps from 70,174 reviews, as of October 2026

One of only four properties whose county-licensed name actually contains the word Resort. Its rooftop deck splits into an all-ages North Pool and a 21-and-over South Pool, and it carries the one attraction on this list a child might cross town for.

    Room to book
Ultra Resort, one of three named categories, with no occupancy figure published
    Pools and slides
North Pool, all ages: South Pool, 21 and over:
    Right for
A family with a teenager who will use the FlowRider.
    Wrong for
A family sending an 18-year-old ahead to check in.
    The catch
Check-in requires someone 21 or older, half the water is 21 and over, the spa and fitness centre are 18 and over, and the only published route to the family pool runs through the casino by lift. The FlowRider carries two published rules that cannot both be true.
  • Paradise Road, beside the Las Vegas Convention Center

Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino

    €€
Rated 4.0 out of 5 on Google Maps from 29,322 reviews, as of October 2026

Off the Strip on Paradise Road beside the convention centre, and one of only three properties in this set that publishes a resort fee as an actual number, in two separate places on its own site.

    Room to book
Standard Rooms, Hotel Suites or the Specialty Suites, none of which publish an occupancy figure
    Pools and slides
The operator writes outdoor pool and hot tub in the singular and resort pools and pool decks in the plural, and both readings are recorded:
    Right for
A family that wants to know the fee before it books.
    Wrong for
A family that wants to be on the Strip.
    The catch
It is a timeshare company's property on Paradise Road rather than a Strip resort, and its own footer warns that the pictures and text describing its amenities may be AI-generated and may not reflect actual conditions. The pool gets two sentences of marketing and no hours, no heating, no age rule and no count the site agrees with itself on.
  • Centre Strip, opposite the Bellagio fountains

    Paris Las Vegas

    €€
Rated 4.3 out of 5 on Google Maps from 83,641 reviews, as of October 2026

A two-acre rooftop pool garden beside the Eiffel Tower replica, and one of the very few Las Vegas operators that publishes an actual age for its pool rule rather than leaving it to the gate.

    Room to book
Standard rooms accommodate up to four; the Bordeaux and Versailles towers are the two named
    Pools and slides
Pool a Paris, one pool, no slide, no published heating:
    Right for
A family that wants the tower deck and the fountain view.
    Wrong for
A family that needs a second pool on a hot afternoon.
    The catch
One pool, no slide, no published heating and no lifeguard statement, and the fitness centre the resort fee buys is closed to under-18s. The property publishes two different casino rules for a minor in two different answers, one of which quietly requires an adult, and a family booking the Versailles Tower is told to check in at a different hotel.
  • Centre Strip, anchoring the LINQ Promenade

    The LINQ Hotel & Casino

    €€

Included here as the clearest warning in the set rather than as a recommendation. Its single pool is 21 and over, so a child staying at The LINQ has no pool on the property at all, and the operator's own FAQ sends families to a competitor.

    Room to book
The bunk bed rooms, which are the one genuinely family-shaped unit in the Caesars Las Vegas set, though the occupancy must be confirmed at booking
    Pools and slides
Influence, the rooftop pool, 21 and over, and the only water on the property:
    Right for
Two adults who want the Promenade at the door.
    Wrong for
Anyone travelling with a child in summer.
    The catch
A child staying here cannot swim on the property and is sent five minutes down an indoor walkway to a competitor's pool. Check-in requires someone 21 or older. The operator itself, in writing, recommends a different hotel to families, which is unusually honest and is also the answer.

Where not to book in Las Vegas

Two things routinely catch families out here and both are published rather than hidden. The first is the pool age: a Las Vegas hotel pool can be a licensed dayclub, and the state's own gaming regulations define such a venue as one that prohibits patrons under 21 from entering, serves alcohol from a permanent bar and allows dancing in a swimming pool or on a pool deck. That is why the wristband exists. The second is the Strip curfew, which is earlier than the county one and which not one of these eleven properties mentions anywhere on its site.

When to book

Room rates here swing on the convention calendar rather than the school one, so a midweek stay outside a big trade show is a different price from the same room on a Friday. Book the childcare separately and on arrival: Kids Quest is drop-in, first come first served, and cannot be reserved ahead.

Family resorts in Las Vegas: FAQ

The questions parents ask most before paying for a package here.

None. Eleven Las Vegas properties were read on their own sites and not one sells a board plan or an all-inclusive rate of any kind. That result is now consistent across eight American markets and 102 properties in this series, against Barbados where 8 of 17 do and Saint Lucia where 7 of 18 do. In Las Vegas the meals are the point of the building, and the resort fee that does exist buys wifi, a phone line and a gym rather than food.

Two of the eleven, and both are off the Strip. Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch both host Kids Quest, a State of Nevada licensed child care facility taking children from 30 months through 12 years at $15.00 per child per hour, with a five-hour maximum stay per day and immunisation records required by the licence, with a grace period for families living outside Clark County. It is drop-in rather than bookable, and the operator states that a parent may leave the property. Red Rock opens at 10am daily; Green Valley Ranch opens at midday on weekdays, which is a real difference if you are planning a morning.

Sometimes, and you must check the specific pool rather than the hotel. Across the eleven properties read there are 27 pools and 18 admit a child. The nine that do not are concentrated at two hotels: five of Flamingo's six are inside a 21-and-over dayclub, and the whole of The LINQ's single pool is adults-only, which leaves a child staying there with no pool at all. Every adults-only pool in this set publishes the same rule, 21 with government-issued ID. South Point is the only property here with no age-restricted water anywhere.

Because of how the state defines the venue. Nevada Gaming Control Board Regulation 5.300(1) describes a nightclub or dayclub as a venue that, among other things, prohibits patrons under the age of 21 from entering, serves alcohol from at least one permanent bar, and allows dancing in any area of the venue including a swimming pool or a pool deck. A Las Vegas pool operating as a licensed dayclub therefore has to keep under-21s out. That is the reason for the wristband, and it is why the rule does not bend at the gate.

Only three of the eleven properties publish an amount. Westgate states $49.99 plus tax per night, Treasure Island $49.95 plus tax daily and South Point $33.00 per room per night, which is the lowest. The other eight charge a mandatory fee and do not say how much: Caesars Palace answers 91 questions in its own FAQ without the phrase resort fee appearing once. Parking is worse. Eight of the eleven charge for it and not a single property in this set publishes a paid parking rate in dollars. Free parking is published at South Point, Treasure Island and Circus Circus.

Yes, and the Strip has its own, earlier one. Clark County publishes the rule through its Department of Juvenile Justice Services, under county ordinance 12.12.030 and city ordinance 10.54.010: county-wide it runs 10pm to 5am Sunday to Thursday and midnight to 5am on Friday and Saturday, but on the Strip it is 9pm to 5am on Friday, Saturday and legal holidays, and from 6pm on 31 December. It names the streets it covers, including Las Vegas Boulevard South between Sahara Avenue and Sunset Road, and it reaches the parking lots, driveways and walkways of the properties that adjoin them, which means the hotels' own forecourts. A violation can bring a citation and a fine of up to $300. Not one of the eleven resorts mentions it anywhere on its site.

Passing through is generally allowed and lingering is not, but the exact statutory wording cannot be quoted here honestly. The Nevada Legislature's own website refused every request made to it, on seven different routes, so the text of NRS 463.350 could not be read first-party and this page will not paraphrase a statute it has not read. What the Gaming Control Board does publish, and what was read directly, is that the word loiter appears once in its consolidated regulations and governs restricted licences rather than resort casinos. The operators are clearer than the statute: Circus Circus and Treasure Island both publish that a person under 21 may not visit, gamble or loiter in their casino areas.

It depends which side of a line your hotel sits on. Clark County charges 13.38% inside the Primary Gaming Corridor and 13.00% outside it. The corridor covers the Strip, so a room booked at Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch or South Point is taxed at the lower rate than the same room booked at Flamingo or Caesars Palace.
