In Brief

When is the best time to visit Puerto Rico?

The best time to visit Puerto Rico is from December to April, the dry season - reliable sunshine, low humidity and effectively no hurricane risk. It's also peak season, so March and April give you that same great weather as the holiday crowds and prices ease. For the lowest prices, come in the May-June or late-autumn shoulders; the hurricane season runs June to November and peaks in August and September, which is the one stretch to plan around.
