Official Rules
These are the full rules for the Journey Finder Santorini giveaway. The short version is on the giveaway page, but this is the version that counts.
1. Sponsor
This giveaway is run by SIA Behind, Brivibas iela 432/k2, Riga, Latvia, trading as Journey Finder. Questions go to win@journeyfinder.net.
2. No purchase necessary
Entering is free and always will be. You don't have to buy anything, and buying something doesn't improve your odds. Journey Finder earns money through travel booking links, but none of that is connected to this draw.
3. Who can enter
You have to be 18 or older on the day you enter. The giveaway is void wherever local law restricts or prohibits it, and you're responsible for checking that entering is legal where you live. Anyone involved in running the giveaway, and their immediate family, can't enter.
4. Entry period
Entries opened on July 30, 2026 and close on December 23, 2026 at 23:59 UTC. Anything that arrives after that timestamp doesn't go into the draw, whatever the reason.
5. How to enter
On the giveaway page, type in the handle you post under. That produces a personal link to the Journey Finder homepage for each of Facebook, X, LinkedIn, with your handle and the network written into it. Then, to earn a ticket on a network, do all of these:
- Publish a public post on that network which contains your personal link for it. The ready-made text on the giveaway page is there to save time, and you can change the words as long as the link stays.
- Bookmark journeyfinder.net in your browser.
- Fill in the entry form on the giveaway page with your handle, the networks you posted on, your name and your email address.
Each network you post on is one entry, so the maximum is 3 entries per person. Entries are tracked by email address, so use the same email each time. A handle can only be entered once per network, by one person.
Your personal link is how the share is checked. Every time someone opens the homepage through it, a visit is recorded against your handle and network. There is no way to check a bookmark from outside your browser, so that step is taken on trust.
Before September 5, 2026 entries worked differently: a public post with the giveaway link, submitted as a post URL, was one entry. Entries made under those rules remain valid and stay in the draw.
6. Entries that don't count
An entry is void if the post does not contain your personal link; if the post is private, deleted, or gone by the time it is checked; if no visits at all arrived through the link and the post cannot be found; if the handle on the entry is not the account that posted; if the post is not about this giveaway; if entries are created with fake or throwaway email addresses; or if automated tools are used to submit entries or to inflate visits through a link.
Entries are verified before the winner is confirmed, not at the moment you submit them. So an entry showing up in your confirmation does not guarantee it survives checking. This is why the link matters: a post without it cannot be counted, whatever else it says.
7. The prize
One winner receives a trip to Santorini for two people: return flights for two plus hotel accommodation, booked together with the winner, with a combined approximate retail value of up to $3,000 USD.
Travel dates are agreed with the winner and depend on availability. Travel has to be completed by December 31, 2027. There is no cash alternative and the prize can't be transferred to someone else. Anything not specifically listed is the winner's responsibility, including travel documents, visas, travel insurance, luggage fees, meals and anything spent on the trip. Any tax owed on the prize is the winner's responsibility.
8. How the winner is picked
The draw happens on December 24, 2026. Every valid entry is one ticket, so someone with 3 entries has 3 tickets. One ticket is selected at random from all valid entries. Your odds depend on how many entries there are in total.
9. Telling the winner
The winner is contacted by email, at the address on their entry, within 7 days of the draw. They have 14 days from that email to reply and confirm. If there's no reply in 14 days, or the entry turns out to be invalid, the prize is forfeited and a new ticket is drawn from the remaining valid entries.
Keep an eye on your spam folder. An email that lands in spam still counts as sent.
10. Publicity
The winner's first name and country may be published, but only if they agree to it first. Entering doesn't give anyone permission to use your name, photo or posts for marketing.
11. Your data
Entering means Journey Finder stores your name, email address, the handle you shared from, which networks you shared on, and the IP address the entry came from. Visits that arrive through your personal link are counted against it, together with a one-day record of the visitor's IP address so that one person does not count twice. IP addresses are kept only to spot duplicate and automated activity.
That information is used for one thing: running this draw and contacting the winner. It isn't sold, and it isn't added to a marketing list. Everything is deleted once the winner is confirmed, and by March 31, 2027 at the latest.
Under GDPR you can ask to see your data, correct it, or have it deleted before then. Email win@journeyfinder.net and it gets handled. Withdrawing consent before the draw removes your entries from it.
12. Nothing to do with the social platforms
This giveaway isn't sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, X, or LinkedIn. Any questions about it go to Journey Finder, not to them. By entering, you release those platforms from any responsibility connected to this giveaway.
13. Changes and cancellation
If something outside reasonable control makes the giveaway impossible to run fairly, Journey Finder can change these rules or cancel the giveaway. If that happens, it gets announced on this page and the draw is still carried out among valid entries wherever that's possible.
14. Governing law
These rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Entering means you accept these rules in full.
