In Brief

When is the best time to visit Thailand?

The best time to visit Thailand is the cool, dry season from November to February - warm, sunny days, low humidity and calm seas, ideal for both Bangkok and the beaches. It's peak season, so December and January are busy and pricey. March to May is hot and dry (great value, but 35°C+), while the green season from June to October brings cheaper prices and short daily downpours, with the heaviest monsoon rain in September and October.
