Cayman Islands All-Inclusive: The Honest Guide
The Cayman Islands is one of the Caribbean's most upscale destinations - and one of its least all-inclusive. It's a Seven Mile Beach of luxury à-la-carte hotels, condos and world-class restaurants, with only a handful of all-inclusive options. Here's the honest picture, what all-inclusive means here, and how to book the right stay.

Does Grand Cayman have all-inclusive resorts?
Only a few. Unlike Punta Cana or Cancun, the Cayman Islands built its reputation on high-end à-la-carte resorts, condos and a celebrated restaurant scene, so genuine all-inclusive resorts are rare - most are on or near Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman. If all-inclusive is essential to you, filter for it specifically; if you're flexible, a room-only luxury stay plus Cayman's restaurants is the more typical (and often better) experience.
How all-inclusive really works in Cayman Islands
The Cayman Islands is a deliberately upscale, à-la-carte destination, so there is no all-inclusive resort strip and only a small number of properties offer true all-inclusive packages. Most resorts and condos on Seven Mile Beach sell room-only rates, sometimes with optional meal plans. That's partly by design - Grand Cayman has one of the Caribbean's best restaurant scenes, and staying room-only to eat around town is the classic Cayman trip. If you specifically want all-inclusive, it exists but is limited, so book early and compare carefully.
What's included - and what isn't
- Where all-inclusive is offered, expect meals, snacks and drinks; watersports and excursions are usually extra.
- Many Seven Mile Beach 'resorts' and condos are room-only - check whether meals are actually bundled.
- Calm swimming, beach loungers and pools are standard; Cayman's beaches are public and free to walk.
- Signature experiences (Stingray City, diving, Rum Point) are booked separately, even on an all-inclusive stay.
